-- (Oh man I love Chigau Boku ga Iru and Walk on the Edge!) --

also! Zarla posted another screencap thingie of The Origin of Mewtwo a while back. IT IS AWESOME because I had never even found a good translation of it and suddenly bam here it is. THIS IS THE INTRODUCTION TO THE MOVIE IN JAPAN. IT HAD TO BE REMOVED BEFORE IT WAS RELEASED IN NORTH AMERICA BECAUSE IT MADE THE REST OF THE MOVIE MAKE SLIGHTLY MORE SENSE.

Anyway be right back, dudes, heading to Victoria! If all goes as I hope, I will be spending time on my uncle's sailboat and chilling with my grandparents for the next few days! Will try to check in but I make no promises- I might end up getting punched out by my grandma if I waste time on the computer while visiting. :3

Life Continues Feb. 23rd, 2008 @ 10:28 pm
Huh, I'm going to become notorious for my stunningly DULL Journal Subjects.

So! I've been meaning to update for forever, to talk about labs and life and school and Victoria and all sorts of stuff, but I just haven't had the itch to write.

I'll start with the labs, because it's the one that's been on my mind the longest.
My Physics labs are continuing as usual- booooooring. It's harder this term, because we have equations we have to derive before going. This is not a thing that I am good at, because it's essentially math. Math is the absolute worst thing for me ever. ):
I lucked out with Organic Chemistry, though! My lab partner has already taken half of the course, so she knows exactly what needs to be done. We even got bonus points the other week for being done first! So that's awesome.
My favourite lab is my Bio, though! It is not only easy, but I love ogling little thingies. :D Amoebas are all sorts of cool. Man, am I voyeur or what?

Okay, labs dealt with. Uhh.

I just spent zillions of hours studying. Okay, not that long. But it sucked.

OH YEAH! :B
I've got Adult ADHD! SURPRISE! :DDD

Well, not really :DDD but hey, I've got medicine and stuff now. It's supposed to help me focus or something. I only tried it out today while studying. It works, I guess. And before anyone asks, it's Inattentive ADHD, meaning I don't pay attention or organize or something lalala.

No, but really, check out this list (from the Wikipedia article) and tell me whether it describes me at all:

1. Often does not give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, work, or other activities.
2. Often has trouble keeping attention on tasks or play activities.
3. Often does not seem to listen when spoken to directly.
4. Often does not follow instructions and fails to finish schoolwork, chores, or duties in the workplace (not due to oppositional behavior or failure to understand instructions).
5. Often has trouble organizing activities.
6. Often avoids, dislikes, or doesn't want to do things that take a lot of mental effort for a long period of time (such as schoolwork or homework).
7. Often loses things needed for tasks and activities (e.g. toys, school assignments, pencils, books, or tools).
8. Is often easily distracted.
9. Is often forgetful in daily activities.

On another topic, Victoria! I was there! And it was really, really nice. I walked there for longer than I have in a long time. The grass there is green and there are actually flowers. In February! Wild. I threw fish to seals, which was awesome, and peacocks and black squirrels and ducks ate peanuts and bread out of my hand. It was just beautiful there, all oceany and warm. :) But there were people wandering around in toques and winter coats when it was infinity degrees out.

If I was going to write anything else, I forgot it. Yaaaay!
